The Auld Kirk, Dinnet, Conversion (7)

The Auld Kirk

Former Church of Scotland Church was converted to form a dwellinghouse and designed to utilise all existing window and door openings to preserve the character of the original building.

The conversions incorporated a large first-floor lounge area encompassing the original rose window on the gable and the retention of the original exposed beams and timber linings. There is a large kitchen/dining area on the ground floor that leads to a conservatory. The house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a study.

A large timber clad garage with a loft was designed to sit comfortably adjacent the church building with a decorative slate roof and round gable window to reflect the rose window in the church.
